Some people will plot out an entire book or blog post and then once they get halfway or even a small percentage of the way through, they realize that it's different than what they planned. But instead of re-planning, they'll get stuck in that rut of trying to make the story fit. A good habit for keeping your writing going and keeping the flow going is to adjust to those story reformations as they come.
