Hitting A Wall

I'm in the midst of editing my latest writing project and I seem to have hit a mental wall. There are days when I don't even want to open the file to look at it.

What do you do when you run into a mental wall? Bang your head against it? Climb over it? Knock it down? Take a break from the project?

  1. The mental wall needs more efforts to get to a compromise. Think of it over and over. But if you can't reach a compromise leave it and take a break until you find the necessary logic. If you can't you should ignore the whole effort and start fresh one. This is my opinion.
